This is a simple tutorial using Petersham Ribbon 9mm (3/8") width.
We have reels of ribbons in our shop which we sell by meter. When there are leftovers from the middle or end of the reel, we keep all these scraps in a bag. But the bag is filling up pretty quick. Our customers told us they have a lot of scraps at home too, from their crafting projects.
So we came up with a tutorial for our customers, using 3cm of Petersham Ribbon x 1pc and 9cm of Petersham Ribbon x 1pc.
We attached these bows to a 4cm Alligator Clip lined with a 7cm Petersham Ribbon.

Tutorial - Tiny Felt Bows
We were deciding what to do with the bags full of felt scraps while we were cleaning up. One suggestion is to make hair clips out of Felt Bows .We whipped it up in a few minutes. It is that easy.
You need :
Felt Scraps
Thread and Needle
Scissors

Cut 1 piece felt 2.5cm x 10.5cm for the Bow. Cut another piece felt 1cm x 4cm for the middle piece.
Fold the large piece of felt so that the ends overlaps by 0.5cm.
A black thread is used as it is easy to see. Sew as shown on the picture above.
Turn it over and this is what the back looks like.
Pull the thread while pinching to make sure the thread is pulled tight.
Wrap thread over the bow twice and insert needle into the centre.
Pull needle through the back. Both the ends should be wrapped securely.
Attach the smaller middle piece as shown.
Wrap the middle piece around the bow and pull it tight. Make sure the ends meet and whipstitch to secure.
Knot to secure. Attach to clips. They also make cute little bow ties.

Tutorial - Easy Baby Hairband and Sandals Set
We received a lot of requests on how to make Baby Hairband and Sandals. We sell Completed Hairbands in our shop but most moms prefer to buy Elastic Trims and Ribbons or Flowers to make their own.
Items that are handmade ourselves are more satisfying and pleasing.
You need :
1mtr Elastic Trim
3pc Flowers
small piece of Felt
Glue and a Toothpick or Thread and Needle
Scissors
First, measure the size of baby foot and ankle. Subtract 10cm to make allowance for stretch.
I cut 2 pieces of 25cm Elastic. Cut 4 pieces of Felt measuring 2cm x 3cm.
Fold the Elastic Trim into a figure-8 as shown. Apply some Glue at the join or sew with thread and needle.
Now glue the Felt strips to the Front and Back to secure the join area.
For the Hairband, cut Elastic Trim to 35cm and glue the join together. Cut another piece of Elastic Trim to 2cm to wrap around join area if you wish to attach Flower to Single Prong Clip.
Alternatively, you can glue the Flower to the Elastic Hairband at the join area and glue a strip at the back to secure.
Voila! Isn't it easy?
